What is this resource?
PLEASE NOTE: CURRENTLY THE FOLLOWING RESOURCE IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR STUDY FEASIBILITY AND COHORT DISCOVERY. IT IS NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR RECRUITMENT PURPOSES. APPROVAL OF AN "HONEST BROKER" PROCESS TO ENABLE RECRUITMENT IS PENDING.
TriNetX is a dynamic, data driven platform that leverages the i2b2 data warehouse and Cerner PowerChart (EHR). Employing a clean and easily navigable user interface, a researcher can easily generate a query to perform study feasibility and cohort discovery. Additionally, TriNetX has the ability to perform analysis of the identified cohort and “estimated rate of arrival” projections. TriNetX is a valuable resource for accelerating the conduct of both investigator-initiated and industry research.
As of March 2018, with the addition of "TriNetX Research" TriNetX now offers the ability to collaborate with Health Care Organizations (HCO) from around the world to conduct real world evidence (RWE) research.
TriNetX Research includes the following features:
- The ability for participating HCOs to access the Research data network, an anonymized network of all HCOs who have joined the TriNetX Research program.
- The ability to create, license, and download de-identified data sets.
- The ability to compare cohorts on user-selected outcomes.
TriNetX is a valuable resource for accelerating the conduct of both investigator-initiated and industry research.
At Children’s National Hospital TriNetX is supported by CTSI-CN's Bear INformatic System for Integrating Genomics, Health and Translational Sciences (BearINSIGHTS) program.
Please Note: As TriNetX currently only allows access to de-identified, aggregate data, no IRB approval is required.
