Children's National Announces New Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Research Core

At Children's National Health System, the Division of Pathology & Laboratory is announcing the development of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Research Core. The goal of the Core is to support Children’s National researchers through a multitude of services and specimens that are critical for many aspects of clinical, translational, and basic science research.

The services offered by the Core include blood and fluid samples, sample processing, phlebotomy, tissues, slide recuts, special stains, DNA isolation and testing, test development, consultation and pathological interpretation.
