  1. Describe the levels of advocacy in the healthcare setting — individual, system, community, and legislative.
  2. Discuss steps for developing an advocacy plan to translate research into action.
  3. Explore examples of research on mental health, gun violence prevention, and nutrition and obesity impacting policy and advocacy in the Washington, DC community and beyond.
